i'm just here to share the joy
of a new addition to my menagerie at home :D
its 2 little birds! yes, 2 xiaoniaos (:
but sadly, only one survived ):
and now its growing! :D
it has grown bigger over a span of 7 days
grown more feathers to keep itself warm
and i think with another week's time
it can fly (:

and this is how this little xiaoniao came about :D
my dad was working then there was something that fell down from a tree nearby
then. one of the workers ah siong picked up the little bird
and brought it in and placed it in a box and gave it food :D (toufu)
later,
my cat damao strutted into the workshop,
carrying another xiaoniao in its mouth. (:
the workers were shocked,
they thought my damao went to eat the little xiaoniao ahsiong had rescued earlier

luckily, it was not what they thought
on contrary.
damao rescued another xiaoniao that had dropped down from the tree...

it carried the xiaoniao and gave it to my dad.
so it was 2 xiaoniao that dropped out of the tree
1 rescued by ahsiong and the other rescued by my damao
(in case you dont know, damao is my cat (:)
i think animals really have ling1xing4
give them your heart and they'll give you theirs
i shall post some of xiaoniao's pictures here :D
the one rescued by ahsiong did not survived till now... ):

it was very weak after it fell off the tree...
it had passed on peacefully earlier
